Andrea Garcia is a veterinary technician with extensive experience in high‑volume New York City animal hospitals, where she supported surgical teams and provided comprehensive day‑to‑day patient care. She earned her first associate degree in Animal Science from LaGuardia Community College in Queens, then continued her studies at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, completing a second associate degree in Animal Science and obtaining her veterinary technician license.

Accustomed to fast‑paced clinics and long, demanding shifts, she brings a calm, capable presence to every case she handles. Her approach centers on keeping animals comfortable and ensuring their owners feel informed, supported, and confident in the care their pets receive. Now based in Pittsburgh, Andrea is excited to join the Zooburbia team and connect with the local community and their pets. Outside of work, she’s an enthusiastic anime fan, loves cuddling with her cat, and enjoys learning new receipts in the kitchen.
