Dr. Kallem

Dr. Kallem graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and brings extensive experience in primary care, emergency medicine, and exotic pet care. She practiced veterinary medicine in the Chicago area for over a decade before moving to Sewickley in 2005.

After relocating, Dr. Kallem spent nearly 20 years working emergency care at a specialty veterinary hospital in Pittsburgh and has also served as a relief primary care veterinarian at local hospitals.

Her broad clinical background allows her to approach each case with depth, flexibility, and compassion.

At home, Dr. Kallem’s household includes two children, a horse, a dog, two cats, two lizards, and a bird—currently the smallest number of pets she has had in years. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, martial arts, occasional trail rides, and dog walks with friends.
